Also look for one of the Western Arms Long Range Guns. They are essentially the same gun and a lot of them have Single triggers, based on my experience. More so than the Nitros.

I am trying to figure out my late husbands notes on his rifles. One says Lefever #20 S 340 423.
Am I correct to assume this means 20GA?
And idea on asking price?
I do not see any other markings on it. Stock is pretty scratched.
Thanks

- Pamela is your nitro a single trigger?

There’s a 20 gauge Lefever A-grade skeet special on Guns International.Item #101810672 Has the single trigger you are looking for. Not a bad looking piece.

Jake,
I stumbled upon your post looking for a Nitro Special in 20 gauge.
I realize this is an old posting, but I have one in my safe in excellent condition, a few minor stock blemishes, nothing major. No scratches or blemishes to barrels, action retains its original casehardening, locking lever is well to the right. Gun is solid and tight.
Single trigger, choked full and full, serial # 346349
I have owned since 1976, I forgot what a sweet piece it is. I may take to the club on Thursday and shoot a round or two with it.
I can provide photos if you are still looking.
Thanks for your time, Bill Boston
